Aquatic Asia Pacific, an Acteon company, and subsidiary of Aquatic Engineering & Construction, has appointed Oiltech Consultancy Services (OCS) to market their portfolio of flex-lay solutions, engineering services, patented equipment and offshore personnel to operators and subsea contractors in India.

OCS provides support to multi-disciplinary design, engineering, products and consulting companies for the Indian oil & gas upstream sector.

The appointment will see Nick Dale, Aquatic’s regional manager, work in collaboration with OCS to increase exposure to subsea companies across the continent.

Based in Mumbai, OCS has been active in the industry since 1980 and has strong relationships with local operators and installers. OCS currently represents more than 20 companies from Europe, USA, and Asia, including JDR Cables and Hydratight.

Nick Dale said: “The appointment of OCS is essential in developing Aquatic’s presence across India, increasing our global footprint and providing a connection between our growth and successes in the Middle East and Asia.
