Phoenix Boosts ROV Capacity

Maryland-based underwater solutions provider, Phoenix International Holdings, has expanded its fleet of remotely operated vehicles with the addition of Super Mohawk II inspection-class ROV system.

The ROV comes from Forum’s Sub-Atlantic brand. It is fit for operation in depths of up to 3,000 meters (2,000 m standard), and is provided as free-flying or with a tether management system.

The Super Mohawk II is suitable for inspection and light work tasks including NDT, intervention, surveys ( pipeline, cable, seabed), diver assist / safety, harbour & port security, munitions recovery, submarine rescue, scientific survey & data or sample collection.

In addition, Phoenix has added James (Jim) Donnelly to its commercial oil and gas division to further develop business opportunities and strengthen the company’s presence with clients Donnelly, currently a technical sales representative, started over 40 years ago as a diver tender.
