Divers have located around 40 pieces of debris around the site at Dalmore Bay, on the Isle of Lewis, where the Transocean Winner drilling rig originally grounded on August 8.

They were working to recover the debris which ranges from laptop size to scaffolding poles with one piece which is thought to weigh about 90 kilograms. All pieces which have been recovered either by manual or mechanical means are being landed and stored temporarily at Carloway.

Eni Norge informed that production from the Goliat FPSO was stopped following a power outage on Friday evening, August 26.

The field, which started production in March this year, is supplied with hydro-generated electricity from the mainland by means of a subsea cable, with aim to cut down CO2 emissions by 50% set side by side to other solutions.

SapuraKencana TL Offshore (SKTLO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad, has been awarded new contracts for work in Malaysia and in Vietnam with a combined value of approximately USD 65.3 million.

The contracts were awarded by Repsol Oil and Gas Malaysia, MISC Offshore Floating Terminals, PTSC Offshore Services, Petronas and ExxonMobil.

The Mariner B vessel was this weekend safely berthed at Global Energy Group’s Nigg Energy Park, north of Inverness, after completing the 15,800 nautical miles journey from the Samsung construction yard in South Korea.

Mariner B, the floating storage unit (FSU) for the Statoil-operated Mariner field on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS), left South Korea on 20 June. It has sailed a distance equaling two thirds around the world.

A jacket for one of the Shah Deniz Stage 2 platforms has sailed away from the Heydar Aliyev Baku Deepwater Jackets Factory (BDJF) for offshore installation.

The transportation, launch, positioning and pile installation activities of the Production and Risers (PR) platform jacket structure are expected to take around 40 days to complete.
