Farstad Secures More Work for Its Vessels

Norwegian shipowner Farstad Shipping informed it has been awarded several charter contracts with Petrobras, Shell and Saipem.

Petrobras has extended the contract for the MPSV Far Swift with another year in direct continuation with present contract, until October 2017.

The vessel will continue to deliver air diving and ROV services in cooperation with Fugro Brasil, on the Brazilian continental shelf.

The Oslo-listed company noted that commercial terms of the agreement will be kept private and confidential between the parties.

In addition, Shell Brasil chartered the PSV Far Star on a 2-year contract for the support of its production activities offshore Brazil, and Saipem took on the PSV Far Service and the PSV Far Supporter on a six months contracts to support its activity on the ZOHR development project offshore Egypt.
