MarineSpace Adds New Member to Its Team

MarineSpace has appointed Phil Durrant as a technical director, with a remit to develop and deliver services for the offshore oil and gas and marine renewables sectors.

With a background in marine geology, geophysics and survey, Phil will augment MarineSpace’s existing offering to clients and also provide additional technical expertise across the company’s marine survey consultancy activities.

Phil Durrant said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at MarineSpace, which is a company that has an excellent reputation within the marine sector. This is an exceptional opportunity and I look forward to working alongside my new colleagues to build on the company’s existing strong client relationships, to develop new complimentary services and also to assist the business in delivering its ambitious plans for growth in the UK and internationally.”

MarineSpace’s managing director, Stuart Lowe added: “We are obviously really excited that someone of Phil’s calibre and proven ability has chosen to join MarineSpace. The company is targeting strategic growth in a number of key sectors and Phil will be instrumental in improving and extending MarineSpace’s offering of high quality, innovative solutions and services to established clients and developing new business opportunities.”

Phil will be based in East Anglia where MarineSpace will establish a new office to support development of its activities.
