PSA Inspects Centrica’s Licensee Obligations

Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) Norway has carried out an audit of how Centrica meets its obligations as a licensee in production licences.

Centrica has been a participant on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for ten years. The company is a licensee in 44 production licences and the operator of the Vale field, currently in production, and the Oda field, now in development.

The audit of Centrica took place as a meeting at the company’s premises in Stavanger.

The object of the audit was to verify that Centrica has a management system for, and performs practical follow-up of, its role within the production licence in compliance with the regulatory requirements, and that the company has robust competence and capacity.

No regulatory non-conformities or improvement points were identified during the audit, PSA said.
