Nexans Norway has signed a five-year global framework agreement with BP covering the engineering, procurement and construction of umbilical and direct electrical heating (DEH) systems and ancillary equipment.

The agreement also covers the provision of aftermarket services.

The agreement provides Nexans a framework for worldwide supply of umbilical and DEH, and has been specially designed to accommodate supplier-led solutions, the company explained.

The products are developed, tested and manufactured at Nexans’ specialized plants in Halden and Rognan, Norway.
