The Norwegian-Dutch offshore services provider Oceanteam has appointed Diederik Legger as a member of the board of directors.

Legger’s appointment is effective as per 31 July 2017. versed and practiced maritime professional. He has over 22 years of experience as a manager and consultant in the international shipping and offshore industry.

Trained in Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, he specialized in transport and logistics. His research into the container shipping industry, led him to work for various shipping banks in the Netherlands and abroad.

Later on he worked on the ”owner side” in shipping companies such as the stock-listed Star Reefers and Orient Shipping Rotterdam. Legger was one of the founding fathers (and CEO) of Rolldock, the Dutch heavy lift shipping company.
