DiveSource Names Diving Technical Authority

Aberdeen based diving consultancy, DiveSource, has strengthened their team by appointing Richard Jones (Jonah) as their diving technical authority, who will be responsible for advising, reviewing and revising client processes and procedures.

Jones joins the team this month following seven years at Shell as diving and subsea advisor where he was the technical authority under their Diving Centre of Excellence.

Jones’ vast experience includes over 41 years within the subsea industry, where he progressed to become a diving and subsea safety advisor at BP from 1991-2008 before moving to Shell and RTJ Diving Services.

Managing director of DiveSource, Sarah Hutcheon, said: “At DiveSource we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality of service. This is reiterated through the hiring of Jones. An expert in his field, Jones is an asset to DiveSource and we’re delighted that he has chosen to join the team.”

Jones said: “I very much look forward to representing DiveSource in the promotion of safe diving management to their clients.”
