Well Centric Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Well Centric has appointed Gary Smart as new chief executive officer.

Gary has held a variety of management positions throughout his career, spending 11 years at Weatherford before joining Tendeka in 2009, where he spent six years as CEO.

FrontRow chief executive Stuart Ferguson said: “FrontRow is committed to developing new technologies which bring substantial cost reductions to the industry. Well-Centric is achieving that by developing solutions which combat a wide range of issues faced in maximizing production from mature fields.

“We are delighted to welcome Gary to Well-Centric, where he will lead the next phase of growth including a strong focus on R&D and taking new products to market, as well as targeted international expansion. His technical background and commercial acumen, teamed with his extensive management experience, will be invaluable for both Well-Centric and the wider FrontRow group.”
