STR Boosts Rental Fleet with Another Saab Seaeye Falcon

At the Saab Seaeye stand at Oceanology International 2018, STR’s managing director, Scott Johnstone announced plans to expand Falcon fleet of remotely operated vehicles.

Subsea Technology & Rentals (STR) added an additional Saab Seaeye Falcon its rental fleet of inspection class vehicles, with planned investment for more Falcons in the near future.

According to Saab Seaeye, growing demand over the last 12 months for the Falcon from their clients in the Oil and Gas and Renewable sectors has led STR to expand their rental resource, as their existing Falcons are currently on long term rental.

Announcing his decision, STR’s managing director, Scott Johnstone, said: “STR firmly believe that the investment of the new Saab Seaeye Falcon remotely operated vehicle system demonstrates our commitment to our clients and to improving market conditions. As an innovative company STR understands the importance of investing and delivering class-leading technology to give our clients the very best solutions for their operations.”
