DNV GL’s Noble Denton Gets New Management

DNV GL has appointed Neil Jamieson Fraser as its new head of Noble Denton marine services in the UK and West Africa.

The role will focus on marine warranty, marine advisory/assurance, technical assurance, and advanced engineering services, DNV GL said.

Neil has worked with DNV GL for more than 25 years and has held a number of senior positions within the company in the UK, West Africa and most recently, in South America. He recently returned to the UK after nearly four-years based in Rio de Janeiro as the company’s area manager South America responsible for all classification and maritime advisory service lines.

We are providing services in a very dynamic market, where our customers are demanding high quality, delivered in an efficient and transparent manner. Digital solutions and exploring new ways of working are high on our stakeholders agenda, and I am very much looking forward to engaging with the market,” said Neil Fraser, head of Department, Noble Denton marine services.

Hari Vamadevan, regional manager, DNV GL – Oil & Gas, UK and West Africa, added: ”Neil brings a good deal of experience from overseas. He understands the market, the commercial pressures and most importantly, he knows our customers.”

Neil is a chartered engineer with more than 30 years engineering and management experience in the marine and offshore sectors.
