Magseis and WesternGeco have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to offer seismic services including ocean-bottom nodes (OBN) acquisition from Magseis and data QC and processing from WesternGeco.

Earlier this month, Shearwater GeoServices completed the acquisition of the marine seismic acquisition assets and operations of WesternGeco, the geophysical services product line of Schlumberger.
