Xodus Boosts Advanced Analysis Team

Energy consultancy Xodus has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new advanced analysis lead.

Ismael Ripoll will be responsible for leading the team which specialises in finite element analysis (FEA) covering a variety of areas including steel and flexible pipelines, pressure vessels and structures.

Ripoll joins Xodus from Intecsea where he acted as technical authority of the advanced analysis team. He has also worked for KW Subsea and Atkins and has led several consultancy projects.

Ripoll, who will be based in the company’s London office, said: “I am pleased to be joining a company with such a strong reputation for technical excellence.

“The advanced analysis team has a clear drive for innovation and for complex problem solving. I look forward to working with this highly talented group of individuals to develop new ideas and ways of working, so we can provide better results for our clients.”

Steve Swindell, managing director of Xodus Group, said: “Advanced analysis is a key capability within our subsea consultancy services which enables us to provide tailored and cost-effective solutions for our clients.

“Ismael joins this team with a wealth of experience and several exciting ideas. His ability to solve complex problems through numerical design tools and analytical formulations will be a real strength to the company.”
