Talos Picks Trendsetter Subsea Connectors for Bulleit

Trendsetter Engineering has been awarded a contract to provide Talos Energy with an order of TC7 Clamp Connection Systems.

Talos plans to use Trendsetter’s TC7 clamp connectors and ancillary equipment on the Bulleit development located in the Gulf of Mexico.

The equipment is slated for delivery in 2020.

Building upon past successes, we are thrilled to continue to provide Talos Energy with our line of TC7 subsea connectors,” said David Older, executive vice president for Trendsetter Engineering. “The Bulleit order builds on a successful relationship that focuses on delivering a quality solution to support Talos’s Gulf of Mexico project portfolio.”

The Trendsetter Connection System (TCS) is a family of subsea connector solutions developed to meet industry needs for reliable, innovative connector products. The heart of the TCS is Trendsetter’s proprietary TEX metal-to-metal (MTM) gasket system. Trendsetter first introduced its subsea connector and TEX gasket technology to the industry in 2015 and has now since delivered more than 250 connectors around the world
