The North East Local Enterprise Partnership (NELEP) is keen to promote collaboration between industry and the five universities within the North East of England region to firstly maximise the commercial revenue generated and, secondly employment levels within the region. The Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) identified the subsea sector as a key focus area for economic growth and prosperity within the NELEP region.
