The topic for the seminar is ‘Pipeline Design and Integrity’, one which has, and is, spawning new ideas, inspection techniques and technologies, yet at the same time continues to generate debate and a variety of approaches to the challenge. Operators strive to meet their regulatory requirements, while at the same time planning life extensions, and looking for cost savings in both capex for new installations, and opex for their existing infrastructure. The seminar topics have been chosen to provide an overview of the issues, technologies and methodologies being applied to this challenging and interesting aspect of our industry.
