SSI to Provide ROV Services for Phoenix International (USA)

Phoenix International has selected Submersible Systems Inc. to provide ROV Inspection, Survey and Medium Workclass services on their behalf for the 2011 season.

The first vehicle to be mobilized is the TRV-M, which, with its dual 4 function Manipulators, High Resolution Sonar and CP capability will provide the required Diver Support with full Inspection / Survey capability. The TRV-M will be onboard the MV Silent Lady a 150’ multi purpose vessel, complete with Deep Air, Mix Gas Diving and even Hard Suit capability if required.

We are all anticipating a busy year for this very diversified Package.

About Submersible Systems Inc:

SSI was founded by Wolfgang Burnside in 1990 as a specialty ROV company encompassing Onshore and Offshore ROV Operations.

In 2008 due to the unavailability of a medium sized, high mass ROV that could meet SSI’s specifications the concept of SSI manufacturing its own purpose built, specially designed ROV system was implemented.

About Phoenix International:

Phoenix International is the largest privately owned, full-service international freight forwarder, NVOCC, and Customs broker headquartered in North America; providing logistics solutions since 1979.
