Offshore Marine Management (OMM) has announced the appointment of Business Development Director Ian Gaitch to the company.

Ian joined OMM in late February of this year; bringing to the role over 25 years’ experience in the submarine cable industry both on and offshore. As well as Ian’s 7 years of experience as a Business Development Manager and Sales Director, Ian has worked on many subsea cable installation projects as a senior project manager including trans-Atlantic fibre optic systems and offshore wind farm construction projects. Prior to this he gained vast experience working offshore on cable installation, repairs, ploughing and ROV operation as a Deck Officer and Captain on cable ships.

In his role at OMM Ian will apply his wealth of experience and knowledge to create innovative and customer focused solutions which challenge the industry standards.
