USA: Clatsop County to Host Wave Energy Development Discussion

Clatsop County will be hosting a public discussion on Friday 5 October regarding the local wave-energy development and its potential impacts on the north coast.

The discussion will focus on wave energy installations offshore Camp Rilea Armed Forces Training Center and the possible impacts on commercial fishing.

As crbizjournal.com reports the meeting will be held at the Judge Guy Boyington Building, 857 Commercial St. in Astoria, and the participation of economic development professionals is expected.

Also the public is invited to attend.
