SEAI Looking for Wave Energy Consultants

SEAI Wave Energy Consultants

Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) released a tender invitation for specialist advisory services, focused on wave energy.

The promoter is in need of qualified service providers of expert project management, engineering and specialist advisory services for the development of the Atlantic Marine Energy Test Site (AMETS), focused on wave energy, located off Annagh Head, in County Mayo.

The purpose of AMETS is to test the performance of pre-commercial wave energy devices in extreme open ocean conditions. The promoter is aiming at selecting a service provider who will work with SEAI and its partners to assist on the project management aspects of AMETS.

The deadline for the submission of tenders is March 19, 2014.
