Nautronix CEO Receives Outstanding Achievement Award at Subsea UK 2013

Mark Patterson CEO of Nautronix

As a climax to Subsea 2013’s seventh annual awards ceremony which recognises innovation and outstanding achievements across the UK subsea industry, Mark Patterson CEO of Nautronix was the proud recipient of this year’s Outstanding Contribution award.

After joining Nautronix in 1996, Mark oversaw the first public to private sale in Australia, de-listing Nautronix and becoming CEO in 2002.

Commenting on Mark Patterson’s award, Neil Gordon chief executive of Subsea UK, said: “Mark is a well-recognised and well-respected figure within the subsea industry and his award is thoroughly deserved. Not only has he contributed significantly to the industry over the course of his career, he has been responsible for making Nautronix synonymous with cutting-edge, through water technology that is unrivalled. Mark has overseen ambitious expansion plans to great success and has worked hard to position the firm as the leader in its field.”

Sponsored by Forum Energy Technologies, the dinner on 6th February 2012 attracted over 800 guests from across the sector and closed the opening day’s proceedings of Subsea 2013.

Other award recipients included EPC Offshore (Subsea Company of the Year, sponsored by Brewin Dolphin), subsea engineer Paul Otway of Jee (Emerging Talent, sponsored by Wood Group), Subsea Technologies Limited (New Enterprise award), CDL (The Innovation and Technology award, sponsored by Simmons & Co International), JDR Cable Systems (The Global Exports award, sponsored by UniversalPegasus International) and Hydratight (Safety Leadership award, sponsored by Apache).
