Marine Minerals: Core Sample Studies Underway (VIDEO)

After completing the latest phase of survey work, the recently collected sand samples are currently being studied at Wheal Jane by the Marine Minerals team of ecologists, geologists and metallurgists.

The results of these studies will give further information about the extent and characteristics of the tin deposits in the seabed sand off the Cornwall coast.

The studies will also provide valuable insight into flora, fauna and marine life in the sand which will feed into our ongoing environmental studies.
