2H Offshore Participates in Acteon’s Riser Knowledge Sharing Event
2H Offshore recently participated in an Acteon-organised Riser Knowledge Sharing event alongside sister companies Claxton, SRP and Pulse at the Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen. The event attracted around 30 personnel from companies including BP, Chevron, CNR, Shell, Total, Transocean, Senergy and others.
Chaired by 2H’s Jeremy Cowell, the event served as a forum to share key learnings in the riser and conductor arena and allowed guests to participate in interactive topical discussions, sharing some of their own issues, thoughts and ideas.
Presentations covered topics including Riser Lessons Learnt, Shallow Water Conductor Behaviour, Riser Connectors Testing New Depths and Realtime BOP Monitoring, and discussions surrounding the presentation topics were enthusiastic and insightful, creating a common understanding of the issues faced by the industry today.
