EMGS Secures Major 3D EM Contract

The EMGS West Africa Letter of Intent which was referred to in the stock exchange release of 13 September 2013 has resulted in a signed contract.

Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has exchanged a contract worth USD 8 million with Maersk Oil Angola.

It is expected that the 3D electromagnetic data acquisition will start for the client in October 2013, following the completion of mobilisation of the vessel EM Leader.

We are excited to be acquiring 3D EM data in the Lower Congo Basin and we look forward to further developing our relationship with Maersk Oil and other leading exploration and production companies in Sub Saharan Africa” said Roar Bekker, CEO of EMGS.
