Nord Stream Conducts Final Load Tests

Nord Stream AG is currently conducting a load test on both lines of the fully-integrated gas transportation system.

The industry-standard load tests serve to confirm reliability of the pipelines. The completion of the NEL-Pipeline in early November allows for a test phase involving the connected gas transportation systems.

The load test phase started on Tuesday, November 5, and will take approximately one month. During the tests, the gas transportation parameters will fluctuate in different modes. Since the start of operations in November 2011, Nord Stream continually transports to its downstream European partners all the gas nominated and supplied by Gazprom Export.
