DeepOcean - Supplier Safety Award - Karl M Minge and Trevor Garlick

DeepOcean Group Holding BV announces that DeepOcean’s safety performance has been recognised by BP, at its annual Strategic Supplier Forum in Aberdeen. Representatives of approximately 70 companies attended the forum. DeepOcean was one of five companies selected by BP to receive an award.

Continuous Safety Improvements have followed in 2013, with the implementation of a DeepOcean developed behavioural safety programme, proactive engagement on ROV leak reductions and an increase in the number & quality of safety observations” Regional President, Trevor Garlick, BP North Sea says.

Karl Magnus Minge, Project Director DeepOcean AS, received the Key Supplier Safety Award on behalf of DeepOcean. The Deep Vision and Rem Forza vessels, supported by the DeepOcean AS office and the offshore base in Haugesund, Norway, have been involved in projects for BP this year.

Bart Heijermans, DeepOcean CEO said “This award recognises DeepOcean’s focus on safety in all of our operations. Our ACT for safety program has been deployed throughout our global organisation and this award confirms that the right Attitude, Courage and Teamwork really can deliver top safety performance.
