Carnegie's Perth Wave Energy Project Progresses

Carnegie Wave Energy Limited provides an update on the progress of key components for the Perth Wave Energy Project.

All components are on track for delivery in either first or second quarter 2014 with Project commissioning on track for Quarter 2, 2014.

For example, the CETO Unit Buoyant Actuators (BAs) have progressed through the construction stage. Internal plumbing is now underway, ahead as are preparations for marine coating application.

The manufacture of the CETO unit pumps (hydraulic cylinders) is progressing at Douce Hydro, France.

Additionally, a range of other components are now being received into Perth and Fremantle ahead of assembly in early 2014. These include hydraulic motors, valves and various data collection instruments. As previously announced, the onshore plant site has been levelled and offshore construction is underway.
