Planet Ocean Acquires Elkins Oceanic Services
Planet Ocean Ltd has reached an agreement to purchase the business of Elkins Oceanic Services Ltd.
Elkins Oceanic Services is known for their production of mooring swivels for all underwater applications.
The Company leader, Dennis Elkins, best known for the Elkins Deep Ocean Swivels, Push Corer units and the recently launched QUICK-CLAMP system, has decided to retire.
He will still be engaged in the business to allow Planet Ocean the benefit of his long and extensive experience.
Terry Sloane, Managing Director of Planet Ocean Ltd, said: “We have worked with Elkins Oceanic Services for many years and it is an honor to continue this association with such high quality brand going forward. The Elkins name will remain and we hope to build on it in the future.”
