COOEC Names MSV HAI YANG SHI YOU 289 in Shenzhen, China

China Offshore Oil Engineering Co. Ltd. (COOEC) has held a vessel naming ceremony for multipurpose subsea construction vessel HAI YANG SHI YOU 289 (HYSY289) in Shenzhen China.

The vessel is of STX OSCV 11L design and classed by DNV & CCS, which is equipped with 250Te AHC crane and two 150HP/3000M ROVs. The vessel is capable of conducting deepwater installation projects.

The HYSY289 will be operated by COOEC SUBSEA. The Company will use this vessel not only to finish domestic project but also to chase international markets.

As a part of COOEC’s increased investment in subsea installation assets, the Company is building another DPIII MSV HYSY286, which will be delivered in October 2014.
