CTG Appoints New Business Development Director

Channel Technologies Group (CTG) informed that Angela Richardson has joined CTG as Director of Business Development. Angela’s business development focus will be aligned with piezoceramic components, single-crystal and ceramic assembly opportunities. CTG is a leading manufacturer of piezoelectric materials, transducers and sonar systems.

“Angela is a leader in the piezoceramic field and brings an incredible wealth of knowledge to our company,” said Ralph L. Phillips, chief executive officer. “Angela’s expertise and extensive technical piezoceramic experience will help us excel at serving the needs of our customers.”

Angela is an expert and leader in the piezoelectric materials field with 31 years of experience on the development, implementation and continuous improvement of material strategies and product initiatives. Angela worked at Exelis, Inc. for 28 years, last serving as the Business Development Director of commercial and medical products. She is a Six Sigma Green Belt, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

“I am excited to join CTG and look forward to working as a member of CTG’s top-notch team in the coming years,” said Ms. Richardson. “My goal is to incorporate CTG’s invaluable in-house capabilities which include premier ceramic engineering expertise, single-crystal growth and recent manufacturing investments to find solutions for the piezoceramic industry.

Ms. Richardson will be based in CTG’s satellite office in Salt Lake City, Utah.
