PSA Audits Emergency Preparedness of Norne FPSO

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of Statoil and emergency preparedness management of the Norne FPSO From 31 March to 2 April 2014.

Objective
The objective of the activity was to gain an overview of processes and systems that contribute to ensuring comprehensive emergency preparedness management on the Norne FPSO.

Result
One non-conformity was identified in connection with training and drills for the MOB boat crew.

An improvement point was also identified in connection with co-training of personnel in the emergency preparedness organisation.
