CT Offshore to Install Cables at Gode Wind 1+2 OWF

Danish cable installation company, CT Offshore, received a contract for the cable laying and burial of 97 inter-array cables at DONG Energy’s Gode Wind offshore wind farm 1 + 2.

”In the current market this is an important contract for CT Offshore. While new and larger cable laying vessels are being deployed on the offshore renewable scene, we still believe that a decisive factor to accomplish successfully is the years of experience and extensive knowledge that the team at CT Offshore can offer within installation and burial of inter-array cables,” says CEO at A2SEA and chairman of the Board at CT Offshore, Jens Frederik Hansen.

Gode Wind Offshore Wind Farm 1+2 is located in the German North Sea and developed by DONG Energy.

The cable installation is scheduled to start in the summer of 2015.
