Italy’s Ministry of Defence Issues Echo Sounder Tender

Italy’s Ministry of Defence (Ministero della Difesa Segretariato Generale della Difesa e Direzione nazionale degli armamenti Direzione degli Armamenti Navali) has issued a tender for the supply of an echo sounder for their vessel ‘Magnaghi’.

Ammiraglio Magnaghi is a research/survey vessel and it is owned by the Government of Italy.

The tender includes the following requirements: supply, installation and configuration of a multibeam hull depth sounder in shallow water including manuals for use, management and maintenance.

The value of the project is 428,500 EUR ($587,816) and it is expected to last for a year (365 days) from the date of contract award.

The deadline for submission of tenders is June 24, 2014.
