TUT Seeks Contractor for the Repair Works of RV “Salme”

Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) is in search of a contractor for repair and maintenance works on its research vessel RV “Salme”.

The vessel, with an overall length of 31.3m, is capable of conducting a wide variety of survey operations in the Baltic Sea region, including oceanographic surveys, buoy handling operations, environmental sampling, and geological surveying.

The vessel is equipped with modern facilities for work and has the capacity to accommodate 12 scientists.

The repairs of the vessel should be completed 21 days after the date of contract award.

The tenders for this project can be submitted until June 26, 2014, and the official language is Estonian.
