The Technology Strategy Board (TSB) report on the success of C-Enduro under the UK Government backed Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI).

Dan Hook, ASV Managing Director and C-Enduro

ASV designed and built C-Enduro, a long endurance marine unmanned surface vehicle under an SBRI led by the National Oceanogrpahy Centre (NOC) and co-funded by the National Environmental Research Council (NERC), the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) and the Defence, Science and Technology Laboratories (Dstl).

The SBRI process connects public sector challenges and matches them to solutions offered by industry. The overall goal of the project was to design and build a vehicle that could be deployed at sea for long periods of time whilst collecting large amounts of data. This solution sought by NOC was not yet readily available.

With C-Enduro now fully up and running, ASV has already sold two units to industry.
