1. McDermott Cuts Losses

McDermott International, Inc. has reported a second quarter 2014 net loss of $11 million or $0.05 per fully diluted share, compared to a net loss of $149 million or $0.63 per diluted share in the prior-year quarter.

2. EMAS Lands USD 110 Mln in Contracts

Ezra Holdings Limited, a contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, today announced that its Subsea Services division, EMAS AMC, has been awarded several projects around the world worth close to US$110 million, including options.

4. Tasik Subsea to Build New Subsea Vessel in China

John Giddens, who built Hallin Marine into a global subsea services player after starting it from a container in his back garden, has re-entered the industry with the announcement of the build of a 105m subsea operations, diving and ROV support vessel.
