The 76 meter long seismic survey vessel Princess Marseilles collided with the 260 meter long German Century class cruise ship Mein Schiff 1.

2. Subsea 7 Wraps Up AIV Mission for Shell

Subsea 7’s Autonomous Inspection Vehicle (AIV) has successfully completed its first test mission in the UK North Sea for Royal Dutch Shell plc. (Shell).

3. McDermott Opens New UK Base

McDermott International, an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (“EPCI”) company focused on executing complex offshore oil and gas projects worldwide, has officially opened its new UK Office.

4. Subsea 7 Orders Pipes from Tata Steel

Tata Steel has signed a series of contracts with Subsea 7, one of the world’s leading contractors in engineering, construction and subsea services to the offshore industry, to supply undersea pipes to four separate North Sea projects.

5. Ceona Awards Five Year Subsea Contract to NCS Survey

NCS Survey, an Acteon company, has been awarded a five year contract for positioning services with SURF company, Ceona.
