Sevan Louisiana Production Suspended Due to BOP Issue

Sevan Louisiana has temporarily halted operations due to a control system leak on the BOP.

In order to repair the leak, it was necessary to temporarily suspend the well in a safe manner and recover the upper section of the BOP to the surface.

The incident occurred at the beginning of August and will result in downtime of more than 25 days in the third quarter.

Sevan Louisiana was constructed at Cosco Qidong Shipyard in China. In May 2014 it began its 1,095 day contract with LLOG in the US Gulf of Mexico.
