Jee Ltd, a subsea engineering and training firm, has released its 2015 course schedule, which includes an additional advanced practitioner course and a new training programme in Norway.

The new practitioner course on offer – Advanced design and stress analysis of subsea equipment – provides an intensive overview for design engineers working to the rules of API specifications 6A, 16A and 17D, and will help delegates gain an understanding of stress analysis principles and the specialist techniques involved.

Jee’s course schedule includes a variety of online, public and in-company training programmes, with the addition of a suite of new public courses in Norway in 2015.

Jee’s Head of Courses, Jenny Matthew, said: “We’re continually developing our extensive training programme and in 2015, in response to industry demand, we are excited to launch a new public courses programme in Norway.

“Norway is a thriving subsea engineering hub that is calling out for training solutions for new and existing employees. Jee’s investment in the region is part of our commitment to being a global centre of learning excellence providing comprehensive subsea engineering courses in locations around the world.”

Matthew added: “Our courses are developed in-house, utilising our engineering talent and experience, and taught by our tutors, each of whom are practising or newly retired engineers who possess extensive knowledge and expertise in a wide range of fields. Each programme leaves delegates better equipped to tackle the oil, gas and renewables challenges, empowering them to enhance their skills, further develop their career and make a valuable contribution to the skills base of their team.”

Jee has been training the global oil and gas industry with its subsea portfolio for 19 years and the Jee curriculum has become the benchmark for excellence in the industry. The company has built up a portfolio of 24 subsea engineering courses offered worldwide to assist in the standardisation of engineering knowledge across the global industry. Jee has trained over 6000 professional engineers to-date and delivered courses in 33 countries.
