Seaborn Gets New Board Member

Seaborn Networks Group, Inc., the developer and operator of the first express subsea fiber optic cable system between New York and São Paulo, announced today that Brandon Prater has been elected to its board of directors.

Prater is a Managing Director and the Global Co-Head of Private Infrastructure for Partners Group, a Swiss-based global private markets investment management firm with more than US$ 45 billion in assets under management in private infrastructure, private equity, private real estate and private debt, and with offices in New York, São Paulo and 16 other cities around the world.

“We are very pleased to have Brandon join our board of directors,” said: Larry Schwartz, Seaborn’s CEO. “Brandon brings tremendous infrastructure investment experience across a wide variety of industries around the world.”

Prater commented: “I look forward to assisting Seaborn in the build and operational stages of the Seabras-1 project as well as in connection with other high demand subsea routes in the future.”
