AGR to Supply Well Intelligence Software to Lundin

Global oil and gas service provider, AGR announced its software solutions division has signed a contract with Lundin Norway AS (Lundin).

The two-year deal includes AGR’s latest software offering, iQˣ™ - designed to simplify the planning and execution of wells as well as maintenance and support services.

Petter Mathisen, VP of AGR’s Software Solutions division, said: “Lundin is a long-standing client of AGR and we have developed an excellent relationship over the years. This contract win is testament to that and, indeed, the capabilities of our iQˣ™ software.

The software, initiated by two AGR senior drilling engineers, can be conveniently built into Lundin’s business, enabling their personnel to structure and organise internal experience transfer, knowledge sharing and data classification.

iQˣ™ software is currently set up for visual offset analysis, experience sharing and operations support covering an AGR-designed database with an overview of historic well data and experience from more than 6,000 wells drilled on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
