DOF Subsea Australia has secured a contract for subsea installation job at the Tui Area oil project, located offshore Taranaki Basin, New Zealand.

The activities to tie Pateke-4H back to the Umuroa FPSO as a producer are planned for Q1 2015 with first oil forecast for Q2 2015.

Work is ongoing to determine the increase in Tui 2P reserves which may be attributable to the tie in of Pateke-4H, and details of reserves estimates will be provided in due course.

The Pateke–4H development well reached a total measured depth of 4,772m including a 749m horizontal section through the producing reservoir.

The well has been completed and suspended pending the installation of a sub-sea flow-line and control equipment connecting the well to the Tui Field gathering system.
