Huntington Faces Further Delays

Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) has been informed by the Huntington field operator that production has been further delayed due to an incident during restart of the CATS riser platform.

According to information received, the riser platform will be closed at least until 18 December 2014, probably longer.

The Huntington field has been closed from 18 October this year due to export restrictions in the CATS pipeline system.

Restart was originally scheduled for 5 December 2014.

The Huntington field is located in the Block 22/14b in the UK sector of the North Sea in 299 feet of water.

E.ON Ruhrgas UK E&P is the operator of the field with 25% interest in the license.
