McDermott has announced that Darcey Matthews has joined McDermott as Vice President, Investor Relations, effective February 2, 2015. Matthews is based in Houston.

“Matthews’ fast-paced, global and client-service focused career, combined with her diverse background in trading, sales, business development, the New York Stock Exchange, and the energy business provide her with a strong foundation on which to develop positive relationships with the investor and analyst communities,” said Stuart Spence, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Matthews joins McDermott from her most recent position as Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Houston-based Endeavour International Corporation. Prior to Endeavour, Darcey spent ten years at the New York Stock Exchange, as Senior Managing Director of Client Service and Business Development, where she covered domestic and international companies and markets. During this time, Matthews worked extensively with executives at more than 250 public companies on investor relation initiatives related to capital markets, trading, media, crisis communication and SEC compliance. For part of her tenure she was based in Paris.

Matthews graduated with her Bachelor of Science in International Business and Finance, from New York University. Since 2014, Matthews has been president of the Houston Investor Relations Chapter, and served on its Board from 2010. She is also a member of Financial Executive International and National Investor Relations Institute.
