MMT Checks Dong’s Pipelines
Sweden-based MMT has recently completed a pipeline inspection for Dong E&P in the North Sea, Danish sector.
MMT was earlier awarded a long term service agreement with Dong Energy Exploration and Production and has been performing the annual inspection on the Dong pipelines in the North Sea since 2008.
This was the eight year in a row that MMT performed this for Dong.
The operation was conducted with MMT´s survey vessel Franklin to find exposed pipe and if it was exposed more than 60 %.
Further inspection was performed with MMT ROV Comanche including video inspection.
“The project and report was delivered as planned to both MMT´s and Dong´s satisfaction,” said the company in a statement.
