EIVA Launches Software Package for Shallow Water Surveys

EIVA launches software solution for shallow water surveys

Denmark’s EIVA, an offshore survey and engineering specialist, has launched a new software, dedicated for shallow water surveys, the NaviSuite Kuda.

“With NaviSuite Kuda, we have taken many of the high-end features of EIVA’s NaviSuite software package and made them available in an affordable bundle matching the needs for shallow water surveys, and allowing our customers to add software modules as their needs change,” said EIVA CEO Jeppe Nielsen.

According to EIVA, NaviSuite Kuda, a single-user bundle, interfaces with sonar equipment and lasers, from multi-beam echo sounders and side-scan sonars to laser scanners. In addition, more simple solutions such as single beam echo sounders and magnetometers are covered by the more than 400 drivers included in the bundle.

The Skanderborg-based company will showcase its new software solution at the international conference Shallow Survey 2015, taking place 14-18 September at the Plymouth University, UK.
