Polarcus in West Africa Deal

Oslo-listed Polarcus has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from an undisclosed client to execute a 3D marine seismic project in West Africa.

The survey will be acquired utilizing Polarcus’ RightBAND technique for broadband data acquisition.

The project is scheduled to last two weeks and will form part of the company’s West African campaign during Q4 2015.

Polarcus did not disclose the value of the contract nor specified the vessel which will be used for the project.

The company’s 3D/4D vessel Polarcus Alima recently completed a 1,613 square kilometers 3D survey for Erin Energy offshore The Gambia, and Polarcus Adira has been reported working offshore Senegal for FAR Limited and its Senegal joint venture partners.
