Magseis Bags LoA for Seabed Seismic Survey
Magseis, a Norwegian geophysical company, has received a Letter of Award to conduct seabed seismic acquisition outside the North Sea.
The survey will be undertaken using the company’s proprietary MASS system and the DP 2 class vessel ‘Artemis Athene’.
The crew will mobilise directly from the recently completed Barents Sea multi-client survey.
According to the company, the duration of the contract is estimated at approximately 4.5 months inclusive steaming to the prospect and will start during Q4 2015.
