DOF Subsea in Vessel Sale

DOF Subsea has struck a deal to sell the vessel Skandi Inspector to an undisclosed international buyer.

The UT 705 design vessel was built in 1979 by Hatlo Verksted - Ulsteinvik, Norway as platform supply vessel only to be converted in 1999.

Previously known as Tender Captain, Far Captain and Skandi Captain, the diving support vessel is approximately 81 meters long, equipped with SWL 50 ton offshore crane, has a 101 square meters ROV hangar and it’s fit to accommodate 64 people.

According to DOF, the Skandi Inspector is scheduled for delivery before the year-end.

The Oslo-listed company did not disclose the commercial terms between the parties.
